The manufacturer Ugreen has entered the network storage market just last year and is now further expanding its corresponding product lineup. The NASync DH4300 Plus is a NAS with somewhat lower performance than the DXP6800 Pro, for instance. It's available for purchase at the brand's official online store for an MSRP of $429, but an $86 launch discount is granted at the time of writing.
Ugreen’s latest network storage device is powered by an RK3558C, which is an ARM-based processor that is paired with 8GB of soldered memory, while the UGOS Pro operating system is stored on 32GB of eMMC storage. Moreover, the NAS supports up to four hard drives in the usual 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch formats. These drives are inserted from the top and not the front, so the lid of the NASync DH4300 has to be removed to install new HDDs.
The NASync DH4300 can access networks via a single Ethernet port with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gbps, which should be useful for certain high-performance RAID levels. HDMI with 4K support is onboard and Ugreen advertises several features for photo and video management, including text and video recognition, semantic search and fast connection via NFC. Support for Docker containers is promoted as well, which can further expand the functionality of this NAS. Last but not least, the DH4300 measures 6.1 x 6.1 x 8.5 inches and sports USB Type C 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity.
