AMD Athlon II M320
The AMD Athlon II Dual-Core Mobile M320 is a entry level Dual Core CPU by AMD for laptops with an integrated dual channel DDR2 memory controller (400MHz). The Caspian called core should be based on the K10 architecture (maybe only partly). Compared to the Turion II CPUs, the Athlon II feature a slower HyperTransport Link (1600 MHz).
The performance of the Athlon II M320 should be comparable to a 1.8 Ghz Celeron Dual-Core T3000. The Athlon II series has the advantage of 64 Bit support and hardware Virtualization support. The cheap Intel CPUs are often stripped down and dont feature these functions.
