This mini flagship phone is better than iPhone 17 and Galaxy S26

Our OnePlus 15T review makes one highlight of the compact Android phone very clear: the battery. The OnePlus phone’s single-cell battery has a typical capacity of 7,500 mAh (27.90 Wh). Although its dimensions are similar to an iPhone 17, the OnePlus 15T’s battery is more than twice as large as the one in Apple’s phone.
OnePlus is also far ahead with charging speeds on its T model. The OnePlus 15T supports wired charging at up to 100 W with the company’s own SuperVOOC Flash Charge. In addition to SuperVOOC, the manufacturer also uses the open UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) standard. Here, too, up to 100 W is supported. This allows OnePlus’ compact phone to fast charge with chargers from other manufacturers as well (PPS: 55 W).
The OnePlus 15T is also well equipped for wireless charging. The OnePlus phone supports wireless charging at up to 50 W. That means the compact Android smartphone charges faster wirelessly than an iPhone 17 Pro does with a cable (40 W).
For use on the go, the OnePlus 15T also offers wired reverse charging at up to 10 W. This can be used to recharge headphones or smartwatches, for example.
Compact Android phone with huge battery
In our real-world battery test, which is conducted at an adjusted display brightness of 150 cd/m² and is therefore highly comparable, the OnePlus 15T delivers extremely strong runtimes for a compact smartphone. In our WiFi test, it outlasts an iPhone 17 by more than 14 hours with a runtime of over 34 hours. Compared with a Galaxy S26, the OnePlus 15T lasts almost twice as long.
Anyone who prefers compact smartphones but has previously been concerned about short battery life will find the OnePlus 15T to be a true endurance performer in the compact class. However, there is one catch with the affordable OnePlus phone, as it's not officially available outside China right now.
