OnePlus 15: Unboxing teaser video surfaces
A teaser video (see below) has just landed on OnePlus's official Weibo profile. It is an unboxing and classic promo video at the same time and shows the primary color option of the OnePlus 15, dubbed "Sand Dune", in its natural habitat. Teasers from the weekend hint at a particularly durable casing, a 165 Hz display and thinner bezels than the Xiaomi 17.
Chinese social media channels are abuzz with talk about the upcoming flagship smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Dimensity 9500 chipsets. While Xiaomi is already celebrating record sales with the launch of the Xiaomi 17 generation last week and testers are busy comparing the Xiaomi 17 cameras to the iPhone 17 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, companies Vivo, Oppo and OnePlus are releasing new images and videos practically every day in the run up to their impending launch.
The launch dates for the Vivo X300 Pro and the Oppo Find X9 Pro have already been officially announced as October 13 and October 16, respectively. However, Oppo is still keeping quiet about the launch date for the OnePlus 15 in China, at least officially, but a recent teaser poster may have already revealed the likely date for the China launch.
