Vivo is not due to officially launch the X300 or X300 Pro until early next month. In the meantime, Xiaomi is on the verge of replacing the Xiaomi 15 Pro and smaller Xiaomi 15 (curr. $890 on Amazon). Nonetheless, the company and its executives continue to tease details about both smartphones online. Likewise, Digital Chat Station has shared core Vivo X300 Pro specifications with their followers.
A culmination of leaks and official teasers, Digital Chat Station reports that Vivo has combined a 6.78-inch, 1.5K and 120 Hz LTPO AMOLED display with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset within a 7.99 mm thick housing. Moreover, the leaker reports that the Vivo X300 Pro will combine VS1 and VS3+ camera chips with the following camera hardware:
- Front-facing: 50 MP
- Primary: 50 MP, 1/1.28-inch, Sony LYT-828
- Ultra-wide-angle: 50 MP
- Telephoto: 200 MP, 1/1.4-inch, Samsung ISOCELL HPB, 85 mm equivalent focal length
Meanwhile, both Vivo and Han Bo Xiao have showcased the first-party Camera Kit accessories for both the X300 and X300 Pro, a version of which Vivo launched earlier this year with the X200 Ultra. Apparently, the accessories deliver a 200 mm zoom for both devices. However, at least with the X300 Pro, the Camera Kit appears to deliver usable results even at 800 mm in low-light conditions. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen whether Vivo plans to offer this accessory outside of China for the time being.
