Xiaomi launched the OpenWear Stereo Pro in China in late June 2025, and now, the company has brought the comfort-forward open-ear earbuds to the global market. One of the notable aspects of these new wireless buds is the lightweight design, with the company claiming that each of the buds only weighs 9.7 grams.
The open-ear earbuds are also said to sport a three-point support design to ensure balanced pressure distribution, and with the outward-tilted form, Xiaomi says that they offer a comfortable fit for all-day wear. The sound department has seen an upgrade over the non-Pro OpenWear Stereo.
To be precise, the new open-ear wireless earbuds come with a multi-driver system, including an 18 x 13 mm dynamic driver, dual-balanced armatures, and a PZT tweeter. Xiaomi says that this driver setup, paired with the enhanced audio processing, can deliver crisp treble, refined highs, and resonant bass.
There's support for Hi-Res audio playback through the LDAC codec, and besides this, the OpenWear Stereo Pro have support for AAC and SBC. Xiaomi also notes that these new open-ear wireless earbuds come with Harman AudioEFX tuning, and with Dimensional Audio, users can enjoy dynamic 3D audio.
For stable wireless connectivity, the open-ear earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.4, and they have customizable gesture controls. Other highlights include pre-set EQ curves, up to 45 hours of playback with the charging case, and fast charging support (45 W Anker 10K Nano power bank curr. $49.99 on Amazon). As for the price, in the EU, the Xiaomi OpenWear Stereo Pro cost €149.99, and they are available on the official website.
