The Honor Earbuds 4 are positioned as high-end earbuds that feature two drivers per ear. Specifically, an 11-millimeter driver is combined with a 6-millimeter driver, which is intended to provide balanced audio quality across the entire frequency range. Both drivers feature titanium coating.
The Honor Earbuds 4 come in two colors with distinct metal accents on both the headphones and the charging case. The charging case provides a maximum battery life of 46 hours, although this figure applies with intermediate charging and can only be reached without active noise cancellation (ANC). With ANC, the earbuds themselves last up to 5 hours at medium volume and up to 25 hours with charging breaks, according to Honor.
Disturbing background noise can be reduced by up to 50 dB, and the earbuds supposedly offer a kind of surround sound. There are also two transparency modes, which allow users to hear vehicles or voices in your surroundings, which could be useful for joggers, city dwellers or commuters who want to be aware of possible hazards or not miss important annoucements. The earbuds are said to meet IP54 requirements and feature a low-latency mode, which is particularly relevant for video gaming.
In China, the Honor Earbuds 4 are currently available for the equivalent of around $49. Information on a possible international launch is still pending.
