OnePlus Buds 3V launch as new affordable wireless earbuds with 54 hours of battery life

OnePlus has introduced a new pair of wireless earbuds in China, the Buds 3V. These are essentially a rebrand of the Buds 3R, which the company launched in India in late August 2025. The two have identical specs, including the 54-hour battery life rating.

On their own, however, the earbuds are rated for up to 12 hours of playback with the volume turned to 50%. There's no active noise cancelling, but OnePlus says that these new affordable wireless earbuds come with a 2-microphone setup that's paired with AI Call Noise Cancellation tech.

As for the audio performance, the OnePlus Buds 3V feature 12.4 mm "tatanized drivers." They are said to deliver balanced bass, clear details, and high sound clarity. There's a dedicated gaming mode, which promises to offer accurate audio and 47 ms ultra-low latency transmission.

The company further highlights the support for 3D Spatial Audio, and it's said to deliver 360-degree panoramic sound. OnePlus also notes that the wireless earbuds can offer seamless and reliable connectivity with Bluetooth 5.4.

Among the other highlights are an IP55 rating, Aqua Touch tech for responsive touch controls, support for Google Fast Pair, and multipoint connectivity. The OnePlus Buds 3V cost CNY 119 in China, which is around $28, making them slightly expensive in the Chinese market than in India (curr. ₹1,599 on Amazon.in). There's still no word from OnePlus about expanding the global availability of these affordable wireless earbuds.
