The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 was announced a few days ago and is now available in Germany and other European countries via Samsung’s official online store. Samsung offers the Galaxy Tab A11 with either 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage for €179, or with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage for €229. An LTE modem is available for an additional €40.
All model variants include a microSD card slot for expandable storage. The Galaxy Tab A11 further features an 8.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor and sports a 5,400mAh battery. The tablet also has an 8MP main camera, a 5MP selfie camera as well as stereo speakers. Notably for this price range, the cheap Samsung tablet is supposed to receive the seven years of operating system updates and security patches.
Galaxy Tab A11 Plus has more performance and DeX support
Samsung has also announced the larger Galaxy Tab A11 Plus, although it is not expected to ship until later this year. The Plus version features a larger 11-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a bigger 7,040mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C at up to 25 watts.
The most significant upgrade is the processor. The Galaxy Tab A11 Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300, which is roughly 50% faster than the Helio G99 found in the smaller model. The Galaxy Tab A11 Plus also supports DeX, Samsung’s desktop mode that allows users to run multiple apps simultaneously. This Android tablet will also receive seven years of updates.
