Xiaomi has just released the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro globally as direct replacements for the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro (curr. $609 on Amazon). Arriving in the wake of the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, the Xiaomi 15T series is unlikely to be followed until this time next year. Regardless, early details regarding possible successors have already appeared online.
Namely, two unreleased Xiaomi smartphones have appeared on IMEI databases. Sporting the model numbers 2602DPT53G and 2602DPT53I, the pair relate to the same underlying device. For the time being at least, no equivalent Chinese model has turned up. However, the G and I suffixes indicate that Xiaomi will be releasing '2602DPT53' in India as well as globally.
Moreover, XiaomiTime adds that Xiaomi is internally developing the unnamed device internally as 'P12A'. Allegedly, Xiaomi plans to skip the Xiaomi 16T series and proceed directly to the Xiaomi 17T models in the process. While the website has not provided any evidence to support this assertion, this move would align the T series with Xiaomi's flagship candybar smartphones.
