Super low-priced Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X sets go on sale: 2,999 yuan (US$424) for the X65 and just 1,699 yuan (US$240) for the Redmi Smart TV X55

Xiaomi has been promoting the new Redmi Smart TV X series and now sales of two of the smart televisions have begun. The larger Redmi Smart TV X65 is currently priced at 2,999 yuan (US$424), which is a reduction of 300 yuan (US$42) from its regular price of 3,299 yuan (US$466). The smaller X55 set has a very attractive price tag of just 1,699 yuan (US$240) thanks to a recent 600-yuan (US$85) discount made by Xiaomi.

The Redmi Smart TV X55 and X65 sets have a lot to offer buyers on a budget. Along with the aforementioned 97% screen ratio and MEMC technology (60 Hz) for a smoother picture, the Redmi Smart TVs also have 4K screens capable of covering 85% of the NTSC color gamut. The smart televisions have a sturdy build, with metal frames and metal bases keeping the devices secure.

The smart televisions also feature a quad-core chipset powered by 2x Cortex-A73 cores and 2x Cortex-A53 cores, which are joined by 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. With 4x 12.5 W speakers also onboard, the discounted Redmi Smart TV X65 and especially the cut-price Redmi Smart TV X55 are likely to find a lot of satisfied customers over the coming days.
