Those who want the display of their Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ or Galaxy S24 Ultra to be as vivid as the displays of the predecessors, such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, will soon have this option, even though Samsung stressed in a recent statement that the rather pale-looking colors currently seen on the new AMOLED panel of the Galaxy S24 series are the more correct setting.
But some users obviously don't care and want the more vibrant colors traditionally delivered by Samsung via the 'Vivid' display option. After all, users still have the 'Natural' option in the settings as an alternative. Using a slider called 'Vividness' in the advanced display options, users should soon be able to adjust the color intensity according to their wishes.
Although this has not yet been officially confirmed, this information comes from a usually very reliable leaker, who has also provided a screenshot with his X-Post (see below). According to the leaker, the color intensity can be raised by one level to Galaxy S23 level and even by another level to Galaxy S21 level, while the base value is the current Galaxy S24 level. However, it remains unknown when the first firmware update for the Galaxy S24 series will be rolled out.
