The Energizer brand has always been a clear representative of battery technology. The company is less likely to be known as a smartphone manufacturer, but has nevertheless presented several models in the past. Now, the company has just presented a new smartphone concept, namely the Energizer P28K.
But 'presentation' is an flexible term, as the details have been rather vague so far. On the other hand, the company has already communicated what is likely to be the absolute selling point - the large battery. This is said to have a capacity of more than 28,000 mAh, with the manufacturer claiming that the P28K is a robust smartphone with the world's largest battery.
With a capacity of 28,000 mAh, the smartphone is expected to also have correspondingly large dimensions. As it is supposed to be a rugged smartphone, the dimensions are likely to be even larger as a result. The Doogee V Max, for example, shows just how large such smartphones can become.
The main camera is said to have a resolution of 60 MP, plus additional sensors with a resolution of 20 MP each. The front camera is said to have a resolution of 16 MP. The screen of the smartphone will reportedly measure 6.78 inches diagonally and have Full HD resolution. The smartphone is scheduled to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February, but a market launch date remains unclear.
