OnePlus hints at expanding tablet lineup later this year in India

OnePlus launched the OnePlus Pad 4 in India in April 2026. It is a flagship Android tablet with a 13.2-inch display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a 13,380mAh battery. The company has now hinted at further plans for its tablet lineup.

In an interview with 91mobiles, Varun Jha, Head of IoT Business at OnePlus India, mentioned there are "exciting plans" for the company's tablet portfolio later in 2026. However, no concrete details were disclosed.

A previous leak suggested that OnePlus may launch a compact tablet in India. However, when the executive was asked whether OnePlus planned to bring a compact tablet like the 8.3-inch iPad mini, Jha said the company is seeing users place greater value on larger displays.

OnePlus Pad 4 Smart Keyboard

The OnePlus India executive confirmed that the Smart Keyboard accessory for the OnePlus Pad 4 will become available in the country in the coming weeks. The official OnePlus Pad 4 landing page states that the Smart Keyboard comes with a full-size 78-key layout and 1.5mm key travel. However, there is no information regarding its pricing yet.
