More specs of new OLED Lenovo Legion tablet leak ahead of imminent launch

Lenovo is about to release the Legion Y700 Infinite in China. As previously announced, the launch is set for August 25, 2026, which is around the corner, and so far, the company has revealed a handful of the key specs. That includes the SoC, display, and battery.

For those who missed it, the upcoming Legion Y700 Infinite will feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels and a 165Hz refresh rate. Lenovo has also confirmed that an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will power the gaming tablet, and recently, the brand claimed that this souped-up SoC can achieve over 4.5 million points on AnTuTu.

Another key detail confirmed by Lenovo is the device's battery. It has a 7,470mAh battery, which is a downgrade from the Legion Tab Gen 5, but the good part is that the upcoming OLED pad is more compact. It retains the 68W fast charging and bypass charging through. Now, Digital Chat Station, a notable leaker, has revealed some of the yet to be officially disclosed specs of the tablet.

As Digital Chat Station reports, the OLED Legion tablet will sport a 50MP primary camera on the rear, while the front will feature an 8MP selfie shooter. These specs match the Tab Gen 5 and are better than what the RedMagic Astra 2 comes with.

The reputed leaker adds that the gaming tablet will initially be available in three configurations. Among the three, the base is said to feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The top-end config will reportedly sport 16GB of memory and 1TB of storage.

It's still unclear whether this OLED tablet will have a TF card slot like the Legion Tab Gen 5 (curr. $679.99 on Lenovo). The leaker also mentions that the pad will be 6.5mm thick and weigh 298 grams (0.656lbs), which would make it lighter and thinner than the RedMagic Astra 2. Lenovo is expected to confirm these specs ahead of the August 25 Chinese launch.
