Honor Pad 20 Pro launches with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 165 Hz display

The Honor Pad 10 ($299 on Amazon) already has a successor in the Honor Pad 20, and now a Pro model is following. Compared to the Honor Pad 20, the Honor Pad 20 Pro promises, above all, stronger performance, as Honor is replacing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4.
The chip features an ARM Cortex-X4 Prime core with boost clock speeds of up to 3.2 GHz, three Cortex-A720 performance cores, and four Cortex-A720 efficiency cores. With this configuration, the processor delivers more than twice the performance of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Thanks to its high performance and an Android user interface with numerous multitasking features, the tablet is also designed to serve as a laptop replacement, although the optional keyboard case does not include a built-in trackpad.
At the heart of the tablet is a 12.1-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 3,000 x 1,872 pixels, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, and a peak brightness of 700 nits. The 10,100 mAh battery is said to provide twelve hours of video playback or seven hours of gaming. Despite the large battery, the aluminum casing is relatively thin and light, with a thickness of 6.29 millimeters and a weight of 537 grams.
The Honor Pad 20 Pro features 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of flash storage, an 8-megapixel selfie camera, a 13 MP main camera, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. Honor has not yet confirmed when or at what price the Honor Pad 20 Pro will be released. So far, the tablet is only listed on the Honor Malaysia website.
