Bigme launches Android office notebook with 10.3-inch color E Ink display and Dimensity 1080
Bigme's B1051 Ultra is a color E Ink device designed for reading documents, taking notes, drawing, and running Android apps. It arrives shortly after Lenovo's thinkplus AI Smart Ink Screen A510, another 10.3-inch color E Ink device aimed at office use.
The 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 display shows black-and-white content at 300 PPI and color content at 150 PPI. A front light offers 36 levels of warm- and cool-tone adjustment, while fast-refresh technology helps make scrolling and page changes smoother. For those who mainly want to read, Bigme also has the smaller B6 with a 6-inch display (curr. $198 on Amazon).
You can use the included stylus for writing and drawing. Eight customizable touch buttons let you quickly access different functions. A rear camera can scan documents and barcodes and also supports OCR. Four microphones are available for voice recording.
The device comes with MediaTek's Dimensity 1080 processor, which has a maximum clock speed of 2.6 GHz. The 6nm chip is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. A memory card can add up to 2 TB of extra storage.
It measures 5.5 mm thick and has a 6,900 mAh battery. A side-mounted fingerprint reader is also included for unlocking.
Bigme's xRapid technology is claimed to support refresh rates of up to 50 FPS. Its xClear system is said to reduce ghosting by more than 50% in normal and ultra-fast modes.
The B1051 Ultra runs Android 14 with Bigme System 5.0. Bigme says the software makes apps faster to open and switch between while limiting background activity to help save battery. BigmeGPT4.0 is also included for answering questions, translating text, and summarizing content.

Bigme's official store lists the device-and-case bundle for $499, reduced from $599. The device, case, and keyboard bundles cost $569, down from $679. Both versions are currently available for preorder.
In China, the Bigme B1051 Ultra starts at CNY 3,299 (around $489) for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage version.
