Lenovo reveals more specs of new OLED Legion tablet ahead of imminent launch

Lenovo will soon release a new gaming tablet in China, the Legion Y700 Infinite. With previous teasers, the company confirmed that the pad will feature an 8.4-inch OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.

While its competitors pack the regular variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, Lenovo has previously confirmed that the Y700 Infinite will sport an overclocked variant of the SoC. Recent teasers have also shared that the Legion tablet can score over 4.5 million points on AnTuTu, which is impressive.

Now, with another round of teasers, Lenovo has shared more specs of the gaming tablet. Among the newly revealed details is the dual-speaker setup, and the teaser photo suggests that both speakers can get loud. The company further shares that the pad will have dual USB-C ports, making it easier for users to keep a wired accessory connected to the device while it's charging (KZ ZS12 Pro 2 with Type-C cable curr. $49.99 on Amazon).

One of the important specs that was also confirmed is the 7,470mAh battery, somewhat matching what a recent leak hinted at. That means the upcoming Legion tablet will be a bit behind the RedMagic Astra 2 in terms of battery capacity, but this was expected, as the Y700 Infinite is more compact.

The company claims that with a full charge, the Y700 Infinite can offer up to 20.64 hours of runtime while streaming videos online. Lenovo adds that there's support for 68W fast charging, and the tablet is said to reach 80% in just 30 minutes. It supports bypass charging as well, which is important for gamers.

There's still no word on the probable price, but the good part is that the launch is around the corner. For those who missed it, Lenovo will release the Legion Y700 Infinite in China on August 25, 2026. There's still no confirmation on its global launch yet.
