Premium Samsung tablet appears in official-looking image

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 series was released in September 2025. Now, new details about the next-generation Galaxy Tab S12 series have surfaced online. The series may include two models: the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra.
Previously, a render of the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra revealed its front design. Now, Android Headlines has shared what it describes as an official render showing the front and rear designs.
The image shows the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra in a gray finish. It features a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash. Additionally, the tablet appears to have a notched display.
Notably, the render also shows the S Pen. The overall design closely resembles its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra (curr. $1,092 on Amazon).
Galaxy Tab S12 series receives IMDA certification
Two tablets with model numbers "SM-X846B" and "SM-X946B" have appeared in Singapore’s IMDA certification database. Previous Google Play Console listings indicate that these model numbers correspond to the 5G variants of the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, respectively.
The IMDA listings confirm support for 5G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but do not reveal any other specifications. However, the series is expected to utilize the Dimensity 9500, a flagship MediaTek chipset. For comparison, the Galaxy Tab S11 and the S11 Ultra used the Dimensity 9400+ chipset.
