New premium Samsung tablets appear in leaked renders

During Samsung's Q2 2026 earnings call, the company officially mentioned the Galaxy Tab S12 among its premium products planned for the second half of 2026.

For context, the Galaxy Tab S12 is the company's next flagship tablet series, initially expected to include the Galaxy Tab S12+ and the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra. Now, new renders of both tablets have surfaced online, revealing their front designs and an alleged stock wallpaper.

The leaked renders (via SammyGuru) reveal that the Galaxy Tab S12+ has a front-facing camera housed within its upper display bezel. It appears to have thicker bezels than the Ultra model, which features a display notch that houses its front camera, resembling the Tab S11 Ultra (curr. $1,089.99 on Amazon). Additionally, the renders show a wallpaper that features blue and purple hues.

Leaked details of the Galaxy Tab S12 series

A previous leak from SamMobile suggests that the Galaxy Tab S12+ may pack a battery with a typical capacity of around 10,600mAh. The tablet is expected to sport a 12.4-inch display. An FCC listing also revealed that the US cellular variant of the Galaxy Tab S12+ supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, and GNSS.

The top-of-the-line Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is tipped to retain the 14.6-inch display and 11,600mAh battery capacity of its predecessor. A recent Geekbench listing also points to the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset along with 12GB of RAM. The device scored 2,424 points in the single-core test and 8,446 points in the multi-core test.

Samsung has yet to confirm the full specifications, pricing, and exact launch date of the Tab S12 series. However, the new tablets are expected to debut in September 2026.
