Multiple Honor tablets to debut soon in Malaysia

The Honor Pad 10 was launched as a mid-range Android tablet in May 2025. According to Malaysian publication Lowyat, Honor has confirmed plans to launch the next-gen Pad 20 series in Malaysia soon.

According to the report, the Honor Pad 20 will offer improved performance, a large-capacity battery, and an upgraded speaker system. The company is positioning the Pad 20 as a productivity and entertainment device for students and young professionals. However, detailed specifications and an exact launch date remain unknown.

Honor Pad 20 series tablets receive certification 

The tablet series is expected to include at least two models: the Honor Pad 20 and the Pad 20 Pro. For context, the Honor Pad 20 Pro with model number "MLA-W09" previously cleared SIRIM certification in Malaysia. Additionally, a separate TÜV SÜD listing revealed support for 45W wired fast charging.

Now, the two variants of the standard Honor Pad 20 with model numbers "HEY4-W09" and "HEY4-N09" have also received SIRIM certification. The two model numbers are speculated to correspond to the cellular and Wi-Fi variants of the standard Honor Pad 20. Additionally, a Bluetooth keyboard accessory for the Pro model has been certified.
