The brand-new Honor Band 11 and Honor Band 11 Pro are expected to stand out for their excellent value for money, as Honor promises sleep and workout tracking, a battery life of several weeks, and an AMOLED display at prices starting at the equivalent of $39.

The popular Xiaomi Smart Band 10 ($51 on Amazon) now faces new competition, as Honor today unveiled both the Honor Band 11 and the Honor Band 11 Pro. The two models feature nearly identical designs, apart from the case color and strap options, though the more expensive model has a slightly larger 1.61-inch AMOLED display (compared to 1.57 inches) and, as a result, slightly narrower bezels.

The display reaches a brightness of up to 2,000 nits. The Honor Band 11, which is 8.99 millimeters thick, is made of plastic, while the Band 11 Pro is made of aluminum. The casings of both models are water-resistant up to 5 ATM. Another difference is the battery: the more affordable model, with its 250 mAh battery, offers a runtime of twelve days with normal use, or 18 days in power-saving mode. The Honor Band 11 Pro, on the other hand, achieves up to 19 and 26 days, respectively, thanks to its 400 mAh battery. This model also supports an always-on display, though this reduces the battery life to seven days.

Honor always includes a heart rate and SpO2 sensor as well as motion sensors, enabling the Honor Band 11 (Pro) to support 113 sports modes as well as sleep, stress, and cycle tracking. Those who opt for the Honor Band 11 Pro get not only the larger display, metal casing, and longer battery life, but also an NFC chip for contactless payments, as well as an optional GPS module to track the distance covered while running and cycling even without a smartphone.

Pricing and availability

The Honor Band 11 will first be released in China, where the wearable will be available for ¥269 ($39). The Honor Band 11 costs ¥319 ($47), or ¥389 ($57) with a built-in GPS module.
