Huawei Watch GT 7 (Pro) appears in 7 variants in hands-on photos ahead of Wednesday’s launch
The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro was first seen in a teaser image on Monday. Now Huawei has released two more images showing the design of the Huawei Watch GT 7 and the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro in detail. According to these images, the design is virtually unchanged from the Huawei Watch GT 6 and the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro, respectively.
The smaller 41-mm version retains the same simple, round case with a subtly labeled bezel and a glossy metal finish. The Huawei Watch GT 7 46 mm, on the other hand, features a case with a brushed finish, which is given a more distinctive look by an angular bulge. The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro uses nearly the same design, albeit with adjustments to the color, bezel, and strap attachments.
The biggest new features are the colors – the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is available in black, green, and yellow, and the included sports wristband has also been redesigned. First hands-on photos from Whylab already show the different variants of the Huawei Watch GT 7 series side by side, clearly demonstrating that the Pro model is significantly thicker, presumably to make room for a larger battery.
It is not yet known what changes Huawei will make aside from the color options. The Huawei Watch GT 6 already features a water-resistant stainless steel case, NFC, GPS, speakers, microphones, a bright AMOLED display, a heart rate and SpO2 sensor, and a skin temperature sensor, while the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro features a titanium case, an ECG, and a depth sensor for diving.
