Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro makes its debut in teaser image, two days before launch

The Huawei Watch GT 7 and the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro were already visible in a leaked promotional image last week. Now, Huawei has officially released teaser images for the first time on the Chinese social network Weibo, confirming that the next-generation smartwatches will be officially unveiled on Wednesday, August 5.
The design of the Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro appears to be nearly identical to that of the Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro. Huawei is offering the new model in a new shade of green and including a redesigned sport band. As before, the watch features an octagonal bezel and a round AMOLED display. On the right side, you can see a digital crown and an additional button.
The bezel is labeled twice. Once with markings for an analog 24-hour dial, and once with the typical markings for a minute hand. In a teaser video, Huawei shows the smartwatch being used while hiking with a map app featuring GPS navigation and while jumping rope. However, Huawei has not yet commented on the new features.
According to earlier rumors, Huawei will once again offer numerous different versions. The Huawei Watch GT 7 Pro is expected to be available in green, silver, or black, while the Huawei Watch GT 7 is expected to be available not only in silver, gold, or black, but also in two sizes, presumably, as before, with case diameters of 41 mm and 46 mm. All remaining details regarding the specifications should be confirmed by Wednesday’s launch at the latest.
