Affordable Alldocube tablet debuts with 8.8-inch 120Hz display and thin design

The Alldocube iPlay 80 mini Turbo has been teased for the global market. Per the initial teaser images, this tablet looks identical to the mini 4 Pro, which launched in China in June 2026. That means it could be a rebrand, and if that’s the case, it will be positioned as an affordable tablet with a thin and light design.

Alldocube has already confirmed that the iPlay 80 mini Turbo will be as thin as 6.95mm, which matches the thickness of the mini 4 Pro. The Chinese variant also has a compact form factor, featuring an 8.8-inch IPS display, so it should be roughly the same size as the Legion Tab Gen 5 (curr. $679.99 on Lenovo).

The screen of the Alldocube mini 4 Pro has a 120hz refresh rate, a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, and DC-dimming. These specs should remain the same on the iPlay 80 mini Turbo. The processor is expected to stay the same as well, which is the Dimensity 7400.

This is a mid-range SoC from 2025, and Alldocube claims that it can achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score of 850,000. That is, on AnTuTu’s global chart, it would be placed between Poco M8 and Tecno Pova 7 5G. This SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Other highlights of the mini 4 Pro include WiFi 6, a stereo-speaker setup, a 6,500mAh battery with 20W PD fast charging, and an RGB ring light on the rear. In China, this affordable tablet retails for CNY 1,399, around $207. As for the iPlay 80 mini Turbo, which seems to be the global variant, it’s set to launch on August 16, 2026, and while the pricing details have not been shared yet, it’s expected to be budget-friendly.
