Xiaomi Pad 9 series leak reveals a larger battery than the iPad Pro's

Xiaomi's next tablet generation is coming into sharper focus. We have previously reported that the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro cleared 3C certification alongside the Xiaomi Pad 8s Pro, with the listing pointing to 67W fast charging, while the standard Pad 9 had earlier been certified with 45W charging support. The tipster behind those certification reports, Digital Chat Station, also claimed the Pad 9 Pro would use a Snapdragon 8-series chipset and a large battery, though the certification itself provided no further details.
Digital Chat Station has now added specifics. Both the Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro reportedly have an 11.16-inch display, which Xiaomi is expected to market using the rounded figure of 11.2 inches. The tipster says the panel is an LCD unit with a 3.2K resolution and a high refresh rate, ruling out a switch to OLED for this generation.
The tipster puts battery capacity at 9,720 mAh for both models, up from 9,200 mAh in the outgoing Pad 8 Pro. Charging splits by tier: 45W for the Pad 9, 67W for the Pad 9 Pro, matching prior certification figures.
Xiaomi has not confirmed a launch date, pricing, or full specifications for the Pad 9 series. As with any pre-release leak, the figures above should be treated as provisional until Xiaomi's official announcement.
