Redmi K100 Pro Max appears in a cool blue color ahead of launch

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is scheduled for launch on August 11 in China. Previously, Xiaomi already shared official images of the upcoming Redmi flagship phone in two colors. Now it has revealed it will be available in a third color called “Wind Chaser Blue”, and just before the launch event, it has shared photos of the new colorway.

The new color has a blue finish that is used for the frame, buttons, and the Bose speaker on the back. It also has a matching wallpaper. Unfortunately, like the Cabernet Red colorway, this also lacks the red color power button that is available on the Golden White version.

Save for the color finish, the specs are the same, although we are not sure if some colors won't be exclusive to certain RAM and storage configurations.

The Redmi K100 Pro Max is reported to have a 6.9-inch 185Hz display with a peak brightness of 4500 nits. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and also have a proprietary co-processor discrete graphics chip called the Xiaomi D2.

The phone will feature a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera, and a telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. It will also pack a 9,070mah battery that has support for 100W fast wired charging, 50W wireless fast charging, 27W reverse wired charging, and 22.5W reverse wireless charging. The Redmi K100 Pro Max will launch alongside a cheaper variant called the Redmi K100 Pro.
