Poco's new smartphone has a 3-day battery life and will receive updates till 2032

Xiaomi has announced the Poco M8 Power, thus expanding the Poco M8 series which includes the standard Poco M8 (read our review), the Poco M8 Pro (read our review), and the Poco M8s. The new phone arrives with the biggest battery capacity in the series.
The Poco M8 Power has a 6.99-inch display with a 2396 × 1080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch response rate. The AMOLED panel is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and there's a punch hole for the front-facing camera.
Powering the Poco M8 Power is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor and it is paired with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage. For its cameras, the phone has a 50MP primary sensor on the back and an 8MP camera in front for video calls.
The Poco M8 Power runs Android 16 out of the box and will receive 4 years of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. It also features dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.1, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, but lacks an audio jack.
The highlight of the Poco M8 Power is its massive 8,000mAh battery capacity. Advertised as lasting up to 3 days on a single charge, the phone also has support for 45W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Thankfully, it comes with a charger in the box.
Available in Blaze Orange, Green, and Black, all with a matte finish and an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, the Poco M8 will be available to purchase on Flipkart starting on August 7. It will cost ₹24,999 (~$263/€228) for the 6GB RAM version and ₹27,999 (~$295/€255) for the 8GB RAM version.
