Xiaomi details phone with new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant and unique green colorway

Xiaomi is set to launch the Redmi K100 Pro and the Redmi K100 Pro Max in China on August 11, 2026. The company has already revealed many details about the Pro Max model, which features a 6.9-inch display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Now, Xiaomi has shed light on the Redmi K100 Pro.

The Redmi K100 Pro has a design language similar to that of the K100 Pro Max, with a large rectangular camera housing. The phone has a triple rear camera setup and a Bose-tuned audio system.

Xiaomi has also revealed a "Firefly Chasing Light" green colorway. According to the company, this colorway features a rear panel with a custom glow-in-the-dark material that lets users draw glowing patterns using a light source. The Redmi K100 Pro also comes in a white finish.

The Redmi K100 Pro features a 6.59-inch display with a 185Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series chipset with the model number "SM8850-1-AB". According to the company, the phone achieved 4.095 million points on AnTuTu V11. For comparison, Xiaomi previously claimed that the Redmi K100 Pro Max with the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 achieved 4.55 million points in the same benchmark.

Finally, the Redmi K100 Pro will be positioned in the CNY 4,000 (~$592) price segment. In other news, new details about the global variant of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max have surfaced online.
