Xiaomi officially reveals new high-end phone in red finish

Xiaomi has confirmed the release date and more details about the new Redmi K100 series. The company will launch the Redmi K100 Pro and the Redmi K100 Pro Max on August 11, 2026, at 19:00 in China. Reservations for the two models are currently open in the country.

Official images of the Redmi K100 Pro Max have also been revealed, showing the device in a "Cabernet Red" colorway. The phone features a large rectangular rear camera housing, similar to the Poco F8 Ultra (curr. $839 on Amazon). Notably, the device also has a Bose-tuned audio system.

The company has confirmed that the Redmi K100 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch flat display and features a metal frame. However, Xiaomi has yet to reveal other specifications of the device.

Furthermore, Xiaomi President Lu Weibing has confirmed that the Redmi K100 Pro will be priced in the CNY 4,000 (~$592) segment and will be positioned as a "well-rounded flagship" device. Meanwhile, the Redmi K100 Pro Max will focus on performance and gaming. The executive also mentioned that the standard Redmi K100 will be released later.
