Vivo S2 coming soon with curved 120Hz display and 7,050mAh battery

Vivo is gearing up to revive its long-dormant S series in India, as suggested by a recent promo video, and a now-deleted leak offers a detailed look at what's coming. Hands-on images of a dummy unit show a panel in a warm white color, with a vertical camera module in the top-left corner housing two closely placed circular lenses and a third sensor ringed by a light.
As for specs, some of which can be seen in the right image above, the S2 will likely house a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo, a 1.5K curved pOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a large 7,050 mAh battery with 44-watt fast charging. Camera details are less certain, but expectations speak of a 50MP main camera paired with a somewhat useless 2 MP secondary lens, plus a 32MP selfie camera. The device is also tipped to come with IP68 and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.
As for pricing, the 8GB/128GB configuration of the smartphone is tipped to launch for INR 66,999 (approx. $700), pitting it against rivals like the OnePlus Nord 6 and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro. The Vivo S2 is expected to launch in India on August 6.
