A leaked render suggests the Redmi Turbo 6 Max may feature a slimmer, flat-edged design, a Pixel-style camera bar, and a 7-inch 2K display. Rumored specifications include a Dimensity 9500s or 9600s chipset and a massive 10,000mAh battery.

Xiaomi appears to be preparing a noticeable design refresh for the Redmi Turbo 6 Max if the latest leaked render proves true. The image reveals a slim handset with flat edges, which some claim to be taking after the iPhone Air ($730 at Amazon), and a Pixel-like camera bar that runs across the top of the phone. In any case, it is certainly a departure from previous Redmi designs, though skepticism is still warranted in light of the fact that a launch is still months away.

Beyond the redesigned exterior, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max is rumored to be getting a 7-inch flat display with 2K resolution, which would make it one of the largest devices in the company's lineup. A MediaTek Dimensity 9500s or Dimensity 9600s chipset is expected to power the device, while a huge 10,000mAh battery may be the highlight, targeting gamers and heavy users seeking extended battery life between charges.

A lot of specs are still unconfirmed, such as the camera hardware, charging speeds, RAM and storage configurations. Current reports suggest the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could launch during the first quarter of 2027, with some earlier rumours pointing to a January debut. Pricing and regional availability have not yet been disclosed.
