The Galaxy S26 FE could embarrass the base Galaxy S26 in one key area

Samsung doesn’t appear to be giving the Galaxy S26 FE a charging upgrade. A fresh regulatory filing indicates that the upcoming Fan Edition phone will stick with 45W wired charging, matching its predecessor rather than pushing ahead with faster speeds.
The latest evidence comes from a UL Demko certification where multiple Galaxy S26 FE model numbers appeared. The listing states 15V/3A and 10V/4.5A charging ratings, which means the model is limited to 45W wired charging.
That charging speed keeps the Galaxy S26 FE comfortably in a familiar territory. Samsung introduced 45W charging to the Galaxy S25 FE after years of only providing its Fan Edition lineup with 25W, and it looks like the company sees no reason to change course this year. It's also worth noting that 45W still puts the upcoming FE model ahead of the standard Galaxy S26, which remains capped at 25W unlike flagships from most other companies.
Earlier reports have indicated a rather modest refresh. Rumors say the Galaxy S26 FE will feature Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip and a familiar camera setup, but with a redesigned rear camera island to make it a little closer to the flagship Galaxy S26 series. If these reports are true, Samsung is counting on refinement rather than big leaps in hardware when the Galaxy S26 FE eventually arrives.
