Oppo A7 Pro Max is launching soon with 10,000 mAh battery and 50 MP selfie camera
After Oppo confirmed the first details about the A7 Pro Max earlier this week, the smartphone is now listed in the Oppo online store. The store listing confirms that the mid-range smartphone will be officially unveiled on Tuesday, August 4. The latest teaser images already show the device in orange with a cloud pattern, blue with a wave design, and matte black.
The color and the very wide camera module were clearly inspired by the Apple iPhone 17 Pro ($1,060 on Amazon). The mid-range smartphone features both a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-MP main camera. The body is IP69K-certified and therefore waterproof. The standout feature, however, is the battery: although the Oppo A7 Pro Max isn’t particularly thick, measuring 8.47 millimeters in height and weighing 226 grams, Oppo has managed to fit a 10,000 mAh battery inside.
To make this possible, however, Oppo is using a silicon battery with only one cell instead of two. If the smartphone is released in Europe or the U.S., Oppo would have to use a two-cell battery instead, which would offer a slightly lower capacity. Charging is via USB-C at up to 80 watts. According to rumors, the Oppo A7 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The mid-range smartphone is reportedly powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 with two ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. It also comes with 8 GB to 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB to 512 GB of flash storage. All remaining details regarding the device’s specifications are expected to be confirmed by the launch on August 4 at the latest.
