Yet another Redmi K100 Pro series phone pops up on Geekbench ahead of launch

Redmi plans to launch its next K-series lineup at the ChinaJoy 2026 event in China this week. The company is expected to reveal the K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max. A device from this series with the model number “M511CD” previously appeared on the Geekbench platform, and now a second variant has surfaced ahead of the official announcement.

Tipster Anvin on X shared a screenshot from Geekbench 7 showing a Xiaomi device with the model number “M098FE” running on the SM8850 chipset (the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5). This is the same processor found in the earlier “M511CD” listing. However, the new phone scored 2,065 on the single-core and 10,064 on the multi-core. These results are slightly lower than the 3,429 and 10,461 points scored by the “M511CD” variant. This means this could be the Pro model and not the Pro Max.

The benchmark also confirms the device will feature 16GB of RAM and Android 16. Previous leaks have hinted that the new phones will feature OLED screens with an 185Hz refresh rate and ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensors. The two models are expected to feature different battery capacities, with the Redmi K100 Pro getting an 8,500mAh battery and the Pro Max a slightly bigger 9,000mAh cell. Both versions are said to support 100W wired and wireless charging.

As for camera hardware, the Redmi K100 Pro is rumored to feature a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto macro camera. The Redmi K100 Pro Max on the other hand, will ditch the telephoto macro camera in favor of a 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The phones are also expected to include stereo speakers, a large X-axis linear vibration motor, and IP68 or IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
