Motorola details new Snapdragon-powered phone with "3-day" battery life

Motorola has announced the Moto G Max for India, and it's not exactly the same phone as the one the company released for Brazil in June 2026, which was essentially a rebrand of the Moto G87. The upcoming phone for India, on the other hand, appears to be a rebranded version of the Moto G57 Power.

Specifically, the Moto G Max for India is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, the same as the G57 Power. Motorola has further confirmed that it will come with a large 7,000mAh battery, another matching spec, and per the company, it will enable the mid-range phone to offer up to 3 days of runtime after a full charge.

Of course, that claimed battery life isn't considering heavy usage. Motorola has also revealed that the phone will sport a 6.72-inch display with a FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,050 nits HBM brightness rating.

As for the camera setup, it's confirmed to feature a 50MP primary camera on the back with an 8MP ultrawide. The front, on the other hand, will feature a 32MP selfie shooter. Among the other revealed specs of the Indian Moto G Max are an IP64 rating, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a 3.5mm audio jack (KZ ZS10 Pro curr. $47.49 on Amazon).

There's no word on the price yet, but it's worth noting that the similarly-specced Moto G57 Power had a launch price of around $145. So, the upcoming Moto G Max should be affordable as well.
