Motorola Edge 70 Neo leaked with 200 MP camera in compact, colorful body
Just a few days ago, Motorola officially hinted at the upcoming launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo, and now The Mac Observer has published the first render images of the mid-range smartphone. Unsurprisingly, the design is reminiscent of the standard Motorola Edge 70 ($562 on Amazon), as Motorola has once again opted for a colorful back panel and a square camera module for the latest model in the series.
Both the display and the back panel are rounded toward the left and right sides. The frame is made of plastic, and the two volume buttons and the power button are located on the right side. Motorola has included three cameras, but the tiny front lens on one of them suggests that it serves only a decorative purpose. The text on the camera module also confirms that the device features a 200-megapixel main camera.
The mid-range smartphone is available in light green, dark green, light blue, and pink, with differences not only in color but also in the texture of the back panel. Motorola’s "Neo" smartphones are generally positioned as comparatively compact devices – the Motorola Edge 50 Neo and the Edge 60 Neo were equipped with displays measuring approximately 6.36 inches diagonally.
No further details regarding the specifications, price, or launch date of the Motorola Edge 70 Neo are known at this time. Rumors suggest that its specifications will be similar to those of the U.S.-exclusive Motorola Edge (2026), which is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7450, a 6.3-inch display with a brightness of 5,200 nits, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 68-watt fast charging.
