Actual Pixel 11 Pro units leak days before launch, revealing telephoto redesign

Leaked photos shared by the X account @PixelNewsHub show a boxed Google Pixel 11 Pro demo unit in dune alongside a hands-on photo of a matte black demo unit. The images were reportedly taken from carrier stock that arrived ahead of Google's Made by Google event.

The black unit shows a round cutout in the telephoto lens housing, matching what we reported in July: leaked renders showing a circular telephoto opening replacing the square periscope module used on the Pixel 10 Pro.

Early leaks ahead of Made by Google are a recurring pattern for the Pixel series, with carrier and retail staff historically serving as common sources of pre-release imagery.

Google is expected to officially unveil the Pixel 11 series at the Made by Google event on August 12, 2026. Pricing and full availability details have not yet been confirmed.
