Google Pixel 11 series India price leak points to increases across the board

Google's Pixel 11 series could become considerably more expensive in India, according to a new leak. Gizbot claims to have obtained Indian pricing information for all four Pixel 11 models from its sources. If accurate, none of Google's new flagship smartphones will escape a price hike compared with the current Pixel 10 generation.

The regular Pixel 11 will reportedly start at ₹89,999 ($943), up ₹10,000 ($105), or 12.5%, from the ₹79,999 ($838) launch price of the Pixel 10. The Pixel 11 Pro is tipped to receive the same ₹10,000 increase, rising from ₹109,999 ($1,258) for the Pixel 10 Pro to ₹119,999 ($1,153). The percentage increase here is approximately 9.1%.

Google's larger Pro XL model could follow much the same pattern. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is reportedly priced at ₹134,999 ($1,415), compared with ₹124,999 ($1,310) for the Pixel 10 Pro XL. That once again amounts to a ₹10,000 ($105) nominal increase, or approximately 8%. Lastly, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is no different. Gizbot's information points to a ₹186,999 ($1,960) starting price, ₹14,000 ($147) higher than the ₹172,999 ($1,813) Google charged for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold at launch. That works out to an increase of roughly 8.1%

We can conclude the standard Pixel 11 may actually see the steepest generational increase in percentage terms despite the Fold attracting the largest rupee increase. The leaked price would also push Google's most expensive Pixel perilously close to the equivalent of $2,000 in India at current exchange rates.

There is an important caveat to those increases, however. When the Pixel 10 series launched in August 2025, one US dollar was worth roughly ₹87.33, compared with approximately ₹95.41 today. The Indian Rupee has therefore depreciated by around 8.5% against the dollar over the year, potentially accounting for a substantial portion of Google's apparent Indian price increases.

The difference becomes clearer when the Pixel 10 family's Indian launch prices are converted using the exchange rate prevailing at the time. The Pixel 10's ₹79,999 price was equivalent to approximately $916, while the Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold came in at ₹109,999 ($1,260), ₹124,999 ($1,431) and ₹172,999 ($1,981), respectively. By comparison, their US launch prices were $799, $999, $1,199 and $1,799.

Indian Pixel 10 pricing therefore carried a substantial premium over US pricing across most of the range, although differences in base storage configurations complicate a direct comparison. The regular Pixel 10, for example, started with 256 GB in India, whereas Google's $799 US MSRP applied to the 128 GB version.

More interestingly, the weaker rupee makes some of the leaked Pixel 11 increases almost disappear when expressed in dollars using the exchange rate applicable to each generation. The Pixel 10 Pro's ₹109,999 launch price worked out to roughly $1,260 in August 2025, while the leaked ₹119,999 price of the Pixel 11 Pro is equivalent to approximately $1,258 today. Thus, despite an apparent ₹10,000 generational price hike for Indian buyers, the two are effectively identically priced in dollar terms.

Hence, the leaked Indian prices are not necessarily evidence that Google intends to impose equivalent price hikes in the US. At least part of the increase appears consistent with Google compensating for the Indian Rupee's depreciation over the past year. US pricing could therefore follow a very different trajectory.

There is at least something accompanying the higher nominal prices in India. The Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are expected to start with 256 GB of storage, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold reportedly gets 512 GB as standard.
