Lenovo officially launches new budget tablet with 8-inch display

Lenovo has introduced the Lecoo P900A, a compact tablet with an 8-inch display that weighs 324 grams. Lenovo has also recently announced the Legion Y700 Infinite, an upcoming gaming tablet with an OLED display.

The Lecoo Mini measures 200.5 x 122 x 8.45 mm. Its screen is considerably smaller than the 12.1-inch display on the recently launched Motorola Moto Pad 70.

Details about the IPS display resolution and exact MediaTek processor are still unknown. The tablet comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, with support for expanding the storage by up to 1 TB.

For connectivity, the tablet supports 4G and VoLTE calls. It runs Lenovo's ZUXOS software, which includes cross-device features. Lenovo's promotional material also mentions AI tools, although the company has not provided much information about how they work.

The tablet has a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera. It also has a 5,000 mAh battery. Lenovo has not listed a charging speed in the available product material.

Lenovo Lecoo Mini price and availability

The Lenovo Lecoo Mini is available through JD.com in China for 899 yuan (around $133). In some regions, national subsidies can reduce the price to 679.2 yuan (around $100).

If Lenovo brings the Lecoo Mini to global markets, it would offer a much smaller alternative to the Idea Tab with Dimensity 6300.(available on Amazon).
