Rockstar's big Extended Look at GTA 6 could be significantly more extensive than previously thought. Three episodes with a combined runtime of more than an hour reportedly appeared briefly on the Portuguese Netflix page. However, the information cannot be conclusively verified.

Fans are already fiercely speculating about what Rockstar will present during the Grand Theft Auto VI Extended Look on August 27. A gameplay preview of the robbery mission already shown at the end of the first trailer is considered a likely possibility. Until now, however, fans could only guess how extensive the presentation would be.

A now-deleted listing on the Portuguese Netflix page may provide a first clue. Three episodes with different runtimes were reportedly listed there briefly. The first episode was said to run for 23 minutes and 37 seconds, while Episode 2 was listed at 24 minutes and 41 seconds. The third episode reportedly had a runtime of 18 minutes and 29 seconds. Combined, that would mean Rockstar could present more than 66 minutes of new GTA 6 footage.

The alleged episode listings were discovered by a user on Reddit, whose account has since been deleted along with the accompanying screenshot. The discovery was also picked up by GameRant and Insider Gaming, but it currently cannot be conclusively verified. The alleged episode overview can no longer be found on the Portuguese Netflix page, and the screenshot that briefly circulated online is no longer available either. Nevertheless, three separate installments would fit with Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick's statement that the Extended Look would only be an “appetizer,” with the “starter, main course and dessert” still to come.

What could this mean?

If the information is accurate, it would raise plenty of questions. Will Rockstar release all three episodes at once or spread them out over the period leading up to launch? A monthly release schedule would be conceivable, for example: The first episode could arrive on August 27, followed by the other two installments in September and October. This would allow Rockstar to maintain attention right up until GTA 6 launches in November.

For now, the content of the three episodes is also purely a matter of speculation. It seems rather unlikely that Rockstar would stretch the rumored robbery mission across three episodes totaling more than an hour. Instead, each episode could focus on a different aspect, such as gameplay, the story and Leonida's open world. Many fans find the idea of a three-part presentation exciting and, given the Netflix partnership, entirely plausible. We will know for certain by August 27, 2026, at 9 p.m. CEST at the latest, when Rockstar airs the Extended Look for GTA 6 (available for pre-order on Amazon) on Netflix.
