ColorOS 17 closed beta opens for select Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme devices in China and global markets

Oppo has opened ColorOS 17 closed beta registrations, providing the first concrete indication of which Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme devices will move to the unified platform following OnePlus and Realme's confirmed switch from OxygenOS and Realme UI to ColorOS.
According to X user @yabhishekhd, devices eligible for the global rollout include the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15R, Oppo Find X9 Pro, Oppo Reno15 Pro, Oppo Reno15 Pro Mini, and Realme GT 8 Pro. Applicants can register by going to Settings > System & Updates > Software Update, tapping the three dots below the battery icon, selecting Beta Program > Closed Beta > Apply, signing in with a Google account, and completing a short quiz.
China's beta program covers a longer list of devices: the Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s Pro, Find X9 Pro, Find X9, Find N6, and Pad 5 Pro, along with the OnePlus 15, OnePlus 15T, and OnePlus Tablet 3 Pro. The Realme GT 8 Pro and a GT 8 Pro Aston Martin F1 Limited Edition variant are also listed.
The differing device lists likely reflect staggered regional launches, with one model on the China list, the OnePlus 15T, not yet available globally. OnePlus confirmed that it will no longer ship devices in Europe or the U.S. once its existing inventory sells out, though devices still due to receive major Android updates will be switched from OxygenOS to ColorOS rather than left on the older platform.
