Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power review: Mega battery life for less than $300
Source: Android Authority English
Speaking personally, I think the Samsung and Nokia phones have a little bit more going for them, particularly when it comes to design. The TCL 10, less so. However, they don’t come close to meeting the Motorola Moto G series in one vital department: battery life. If battery life is your primary concern, you can’t go wrong with either the Moto G Power or the Moto G Stylus. The G Power, in particular, delivers dividends on battery life with three days of uptime. The G Stylus may only reach two days, but that’s still better than many devices in any price range.

The Moto G Stylus is a solid phone with an interesting feature that makes it easier to jot down notes whenever you want. It delivers good performance for the price and the cameras — while hit and miss — generally produce some decent shots if not the kinds of quality photos you'd get from the Pixel 3a or iPhone SE. If you don't want to spend more than $300 on a phone, the Moto G Stylus is a very good option.

With the launch of the Moto G Stylus ($300 at Amazon) and Moto G Power ($250 at Best Buy), Motorola did something a little weird to its phones: It removed all the numbers from the phone's names. Last year, the Chicago-based company launched the much-beloved Moto G7. The year prior there was the Moto G6 and before that the Moto G5 and G5 Plus. And while there actually is a Moto G8, it's not destined for the US.

76% Moto G Stylus review: The highs and lows of a $300 smartphone
Source: Engadget English
The $300 Moto G Stylus is a capable smartphone with a stylus that makes it easy to take notes and make handwritten lists on the fly. The doodling experience is hampered by a lack of palm rejection, but the fact that the option remains to take quick, handwritten notes will compel some to consider it. Aside from the pen, the G Stylus is almost identical to the Moto G Power and it has solid performance plus a great 14-hour battery life. It takes its best photos in good lighting and, while the included macro lens is a strange choice, it ultimately adds a unique flare that makes it stand out among other mid-range smartphones. However, the G Power’s lack of NFC, disappointing Night Mode photography and its plastic design prove that sacrifice is necessary when opting for a more affordable handset.

Moto G Stylus Review: Can A Pen Save The Budget Phone?
Source: MrMobile English
It almost couldn’t be a worse time to launch a budget-conscious smartphone. Yes, people are being more frugal, but there are already amazing options out there: if Apple’s iPhone SE 2020 lives up to its 2016-era predecessor, it’ll easily earn its $400 price tag, and rumors have Google’s Pixel 4a launching soon around the same price. If that weren’t enough, last year’s most excellent Pixel 3a just dropped to $299, which I think is the deal of the year so far. With competition like that, you might ask why anyone would want to buy a Moto G Stylus for $299. And my answer would ordinarily be no one – not even for the stylus in the silo – were it not for a reduction at the retailers. Join me for the Moto G Stylus Review!

With the launch of the Moto G Stylus ($300 at Motorola) and Moto G Power ($250 at Motorola), Motorola did one thing somewhat bizarre to its telephones: It eliminated all of the numbers from the telephone’s names. Aside from the expensive Galaxy Note 10, the Moto G Stylus is the best stylus-equipped smartphone you can buy. For $299, it offers solid performance, a big, bright display, and long battery life. That said, you can get nearly identical features and performance—not to mention longer battery life—for $50 less with the Moto G Power. And if you're willing to spend more, we recommend that Pixel 3a for its more powerful hardware, faster OS updates, and best-in-class camera. Of course, neither of these alternative come with a stylus, and if that's what you're looking for, you can't beat the Moto G Stylus for the price.

There doesn’t seem to be much not to like about the new Moto G line, and that’s always encouraging in the world of budget smartphones. Both the Moto G Stylus and Moto G Power appear to hit all the right notes: they’re more powerful than their predecessors, they’re equipped with massive batteries, and this time Motorola hasn’t raised their prices — which is a rare feat nowadays, as costs continue to rise across all phone categories.

Moto G Power and Moto G Stylus hands-on: Moto’s remarkable mid-rangers
Source: Android Authority English
These phones are not the most impressive I’ve ever seen, but they offer a good value. The price points are quite appealing considering what you get. What worries me most is the middling performance we saw from the Moto One devices last year. If these new devices are anything like those, Motorola may be in trouble. If the G Stylus and G Power represent a step up in performance, then Motorola’s outlook is brighter. Let’s hope for the latter.

Just by retaining the long-lasting battery of the Moto G7 Power, the Moto G Power was already in the conversation for a must-have device for budget-conscious shoppers. But this phone isn't just counting on its longevity to win you over. It also performs well enough to meet the needs of the average smartphone user, and the cameras — while not the best you can find on a budget device — produced some pretty eye-catching shots during our testing for the Moto G Power review.

The Moto G Power ($250 at Best Buy) is one of the newer members of the Motorola G budget phone family. It follows in the same steps as last year's Moto G7 Power with both a wallet-friendly price and a gigantic battery. At its core, the $250 Moto G Power is similar to the more expensive Moto G Stylus ($300 at Amazon). (It's sold as the Moto G8 Power in the UK for £220. It's not available in Australia.) Both came at a time when sheltering in place meant many of us depended on our phones to stay connected with friends, family or work. Many of us still are. At the same time, millions of people are in financial distress and can't afford a new phone or to replace a broken one, especially when new phones can cost upward of a thousand dollars.

76% Motorola Moto G Fast Review: ‘budget’ isn’t a bad word
Source: Phandroid English
The Moto G Fast from Motorola is a great device for the price. The build quality and software really stand out when compared to other devices in the category. But if you want slightly better performance, a higher resolution display, and even better battery life, the $229 Motorola Moto G Power is a much better option.

70% Moto G Fast review: Cheaper isn't always better
Source: Android Central English
Hot off the heels of the excellent Moto G Power, the Moto G Fast aims to offer a similar experience while lowering the price even more. You need to put up with some substantial downgrades, such as a 720p display and just 3GB of RAM, but if you only have $200 to spend on your next phone and not a penny more, you could do far worse than what Motorola's offering here.

The Motorola Moto G Fast is a good $200 phone that sits in an awkward place. For $50 less, the Moto e offers many of the same features, while for $50 more, the Moto G Power offers better performance all around. If $200 is the absolute top of your budget, the Moto G Fast is a perfectly fine choice, but if you can spend a little more, we recommend going for the for the Moto G Power. With better battery life, a stronger speaker, and a significantly sharper display, it's much more likely to keep you happy over the long run.

The Moto G Fast is a great choice for anyone who can’t spend more than $200 on a new smartphone, thanks to strong battery life, a serviceable display and cameras and good enough performance. However, those willing to part with another $50 will want to upgrade to the Moto G Power, which is a better handset all around.

80.4% Motorola Moto G 5G Plus Smartphone Review - A battery giant with a 90Hz display | Notebookcheck

The Moto G 5G Plus is a good all-rounder with a better chipset, battery life and screen quality than many other devices at its price point. It’s also got a bigger screen than its siblings. The fact that it’s also 5G-compatible makes it an even more tempting offer, as it’s the cheapest 5G phone at launch, although as with all Moto phones it has its fair share of annoying quirks. It’s good, especially as a cheap 5G handset, but not game-changing.

This is a new SmartPhone designed for 5G but that still works using 4G if you live or work in an area currently without 5G coverage. This is supplied with a transparent back and sides silicon cover that stops the cameras being proud on the back which means that you can lay it on any surface without any danger of scratching that surface.

Moto G 5G Plus review: Super performance, super price
Source: Pocket Lint English
This isn't just a good phone because it offers 5G future-proofing. It's simply just a good phone for all it offers: a big screen, smooth software experience, and a sensible price. It looks a little plasticky and the cameras are an oversell, but otherwise there's little within this class that can touch this Moto.

If you are in market for a 5G phone now, but have a limited budget the Moto G 5G Plus is certainly shaping as a very sensible all-rounder. You get a decent 90Hz IPS panel, great battery life, clean Android with a couple of cool customizations and features on top and a capable chipset. And if the cameras didn't need some extra work and the screen was OLED, this phone would have been an outright steal at that price.

Motorola wraps up 5G, impressive performance and a great screen in a smartphone that won't cost you much at all. While some corners have been cut to get the phone to this price, we think the Moto G 5G offers plenty of bang for buck in most key categories.

For £299 (or £349 for the 6GB RAM version) you’re a getting an Android phone that easily matches handsets that cost twice the price. Performance is great, the software is clean and the screen is bright and fast. It charges up quickly and lasts for ages and it even takes pretty good photos. Add to that 5G and the new Moto G easily earns a place as one of 2020's best value smartphones.

Hands on: Moto G 5G Plus review
Source: Techradar English
The Moto G 5G Plus has a huge 6.7-inch screen, six cameras, and 5G connectivity, so on paper it’s a big step up for the phone line. But not all of that translates to a transformed user experience, so it just feels like a Moto G9. In fact, the real biggest change is the relocated fingerprint sensor, which in itself brings a new trick many might find useful. However its super-low price tag, at least for a 5G phone, might make it appealing to many more people than a 5G phone would normally be.

Motorola: The original company Motorola Inc was split in 2011. Motorola Mobility got the smartphone range and was taken over by Google in 2012 and by Lenovo in 2014. The Motorola smartphone brand continues for the time being. There are still a lot of reviews on Motorola Mobiles with average ratings.

Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 665) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance of the GPU is between the Adreno 510 and 512/612 and therefore in the lower mid range. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2.

Qualcomm Adreno 620: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 765 and 765G) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2. The 765G variant is 10% faster than the one integrated in the 765 and 20% faster than the Adreno 618 predecessor.

Qualcomm Snapdragon:

SD 665: Fast mid-range ARM SoC with 8 CPU Kryo 260 cores (four fast 2 GHz Cortex-A73 cores in a cluster and two power saving 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores) and a rather slow Adreno 610 GPU. Manufactured in a 11 nm LPP process.

SD 765: Fast mid-range ARM SoC with 8 CPU Kryo 475 cores (one fast ARM Cortex-A76 prime core at up to 2.3 GHz, one A76 gold core at 2.2 GHz and 6 small ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz). As one of the first SoCs it also integrates a 5G modem (Snapdragon X52 up to 3,7 / 1,6 Mbps down- and upload, mmWave and Sub-6 support). The processor is manufactured in the modern and energy efficient 7nm EUV process at Samsung.
