Microsoft offers a preview of its Black Friday discount event
Microsoft has unveiled a Black Friday Sneak Peek for this year. It is a webpage showing which devices will be on sale for this event, as well as when individual deals will go live. The best saving displayed here is perhaps that on the Surface Book 2, certain SKUs of which will go for up to US$500 less from 28 November 2019.
However, those who might wish for newer hardware could also go for the offer of up to $230 off the Surface Pro 7, a listing that goes live on 22 November. Alternatively, the OEM is advertising discounts of up to $300 off the Surface Laptop 3 or up to $150 off the Surface Go. Unfortunately, this event seems not to include the fresher and more innovative Pro X device.
Those uninterested in Microsoft convertibles may be more into $20 off Xbox One controllers. However, they may also be advised to wait for the X019 event, which takes place on November 14. It is a "celebration of all thing Xbox" held in London this year, and may contain details of a Black Friday sale on this hardware.
Microsoft also has November 28 deals on recent gaming laptops from other brands on its store. They include the 9th-gen Intel Core i7 ASUS ROG Strix G with 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD that will be $299 cheaper on this date. These offers also include $300 off the similarly 9th-gen Intel Core i7/16GB RAM/512GB SSD Acer Predator Triton 500, or $400 off the i7/8GB RAM/512GB SSD + 1TB HDD Lenovo Legion Y540.
The Redmond giant also underscores its emerging partnership with Samsung by including the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series in this upcoming sale. They may come bundled with the Galaxy Buds during the event. Furthermore, Microsoft has some deals going on right now ahead of the main holiday mega-sale. However, $383 off an i7 Surface Pro 6 with a Type Cover and stylus appears to be the best that can be done there at the moment.
