Huawei has released its latest Watch D smartwatch. Still a medically certified blood pressure monitor, the Watch D3 surpasses the Watch D3 with a larger display within a thinner and smaller body. Huawei is offering various discounts at launch, too.

Huawei has just updated its Watch GT series with regular and Pro models. For reference, we have already put the Watch GT7 and Watch GT7 Pro through their paces. Please see our Watch GT7 and Watch GT7 Pro reviews for more details.

Simultaneously, Huawei has launched a new Watch D wearable, too. Now on its third generation, the Watch D series is unlike anything like the Apple Watch Ultra 3, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 or the Fenix 9 Pro (curr. $1,099 on Amazon). As we found during our 2024 review, even the older Watch D2 offered 24-hour blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) to a medically certified level.

With the Watch D3, Huawei has installed a larger display within a smaller frame that continues to weigh 40 g. For context, the Watch D2 contains a 1.82-inch display and a 48 x 38 x 13.3 mm case size. By contrast, the Watch D3 adopts a 1.92-inch display while dropping to a 46.5 x 38.8 x 11.4 mm case size.

Although still an LTPO AMOLED panel, this larger display maintains the same 409 x 480-pixel resolution as its smaller counterpart. Consequently, the Watch D3 arrives with a 328 PPI pixel density, compared to 347 PPI for the Watch D2. Setting that aside, the new Watch D matches its predecessor with up to 6 days of battery life from its 540 mAh battery.

Moreover, the Watch D3 supports Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity and NFC tap-to-pay with Curve Pay. On top of that, the new smartwatch is compatible with devices running Android 8 or iOS 13 and later. The Watch D3 is available to order from today for €449. Applying the voucher code ANBCQ3W20 before September 30, 2026, will reduce the smartwatch's price by €20, though. Not only do pre-orders come with a FreeBuds SE4 or Scale 3, but existing Watch D owners will receive a further €100 discount when upgrading to the Watch D3.
