The latest firmware update for the T-Rex 3, T-Rex Ultra 2 and T-Rex 3 Pro (pictured here) brings improved functionality overall.
Amazfit’s 6.3.25.7 firmware update brings expanded Hyrox analysis, FTMS indoor cycling support, app-based playlist management and navigation refinements to the T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro and T-Rex Ultra 2. The small but substantial update is rolling out gradually to eligible models.

Amazfit has begun rolling out firmware 6.3.25.7 to its T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro, and T-Rex Ultra 2 outdoor watches. Despite a modest 16.5MB download size, the update packs a notable spread of changes revolving around Hyrox workouts, indoor cycling, music management and navigation.

For Hyrox, the update adds more detailed analysis when the watches are paired with an Amazfit Helio Strap Pro. Users can start a Hyrox race or simulation from the watch, with the system recording movement counts, movement frequency and heart-rate trends. Post-workout analysis includes pace changes and training suggestions for individual stations. Pairing devices is also easier: if a Helio Strap Pro is already registered to the same Zepp Health account, the T-Rex 3, T-Rex 3 Pro and Ultra 2 will link to it automatically.

Indoor cyclists now get support for the FTMS standard, allowing watches to connect to compatible smart trainers and spin bikes. Metrics such as power, cadence, speed and distance can now be seen directly on the watch, with a choice of metric or imperial units for calibration.

Music management is now easier: users can now manage playlists directly via the Zepp Health app, sparing them from having organise their songs on the small smartwatch screen. This can be done via Zepp App > Device > Device Application Settings > Music. A new Athlete Defaults setting can apply training-oriented settings such as Workout Do Not Disturb.

Navigation receives smaller but practical changes. Readability of the route elevation chart has been improved, while the Advance Up map view now automatically rotates according to the wearer’s heading when zooming in. The update rollout is currently underway, although it may take time to reach all users.
