Amazon adds two new free games to Luna, including an open-world sandbox

Amazon adds a new selection of games every month that Prime members can claim and download through Luna (formerly Prime Gaming). And now that September has started, the company has added two new titles that members can play without paying anything extra.

New free games added to Luna

The first title is War Hospital (Epic Games Store), which puts you in charge of a field hospital during World War I. You play as Major Henry Wells, a former British combat medic who is brought back into service in 1918 to run a hospital on the Western Front.

Your job is to keep the hospital running while dealing with a constant flow of wounded soldiers. Resources are limited, so you have to decide which patients receive treatment first and how your staff should be used. Doctors, nurses, and engineers all have different roles, while fatigue and morale also need to be managed.

The game also includes narrative choices that can change how the story develops. You can improve hospital facilities, research new medical technologies, and make difficult decisions when there are not enough resources for everyone. 

The second new addition, Just Die Already (Epic Games Store), takes a very different approach. Created by the designers of Goat Simulator, this is a chaotic open-world sandbox game where you play as an elderly person who has been kicked out of a retirement home.

With no one willing to pay for your retirement, you need to complete dangerous challenges and earn retirement tickets so you can qualify for proper care. The world is filled with objects that can be used in ridiculous ways, including trampolines, fireworks, jetpacks, axes, bazookas, and even giant fish. There are also four PvP arenas where players can compete against each other in the game's free post-launch modes.

It’s important to keep in mind that both games are available until October 7. If you manage to add them to your library before that, they’ll be yours to keep forever.
