Google is slowly bringing more Pixel smartphone features to the Pixel Watch, with the company allegedly gearing to release the Pixel Watch 2 this autumn. According to 9to5Google, Google has now enabled 'At a Glance' functionality on its first smartwatch, a feature that has been part of the default Google Pixel launcher for years at this point. At a Glance starts with limited functionality on the Pixel Watch, but there is no reason why Google cannot match the feature set offered on Pixel smartphones.
For now, At a Glance on a Pixel Watch will show calendar and weather information. 9to5Google notes that the former also includes a countdown timer until the start of your next event. Moreover, Google restricts At a Glance to the fourth slot of the Utility watch face, although it should be an available complication on third-party watch faces.
At a Glance for the Pixel Watch arrives separate from the June 2023 Feature Drop, discussed separately. In short, Google has finally enabled the smartwatch's SpO2 sensor, among other changes. Seemingly, At a Glance has arrived via a server-side update. Please see our Pixel Watch review for our thoughts on Google's inaugural smartwatch and how it compares with its peers.
