Satechi Triple 4K Display Docking Station with twelve ports arrives
Satechi has launched its new Triple 4K Display Docking Station; the gadget has a total of twelve ports. You can connect a host device via USB-C, charging the gadget at up to 100W. Alternatively, you can connect via USB-A. The DisplayLink technology enables you to connect up to three 4K@60Hz displays, though a software download is required. You can choose from two DisplayPort 1.4 and three HDMI 2.0 ports to connect your three monitors.
The Triple 4K Display Docking Station has three 5 Gbps USB 3.0 ports, a 10 Gbps USB-A 3.1 Gen 2 port and USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 ports. You can also use these outputs to charge peripherals up to 7.5W. Other ports include Gigabit Ethernet and an audio in/out port. Plus, a Kensington Lock slot can be used to secure your device. The dock is compatible with various Windows and Mac gadgets, including those with M1 and M2 processors.
The dock measures 191 x 85 x 32 mm (~7.52 x 3.35 x 1.26-in), weighs 278 g (~9.8 oz) and comes with a DC/20V 130W power supply. You can now buy the Satechi Triple 4K Display Docking Station in the US for US$299.99. EU, UK and AUS versions of the gadget are available, though these must currently be imported from the US.
