TAG Heuer reveals new Connected Calibre E4 Golden Bright and Bright Black Edition smartwatches
TAG Heuer has revealed the new Connected 42 mm Golden Bright Edition and Connected 45 mm Bright Black Edition smartwatches. The TAG Heuer Connected 42 mm Golden Bright Edition is the brand's first full golden PVD watch case in its Connected series. This model has a rose gold PVD steel case and crown, a protective sapphire crystal, and a leather strap.
The Golden Bright Edition wearable has a 1.28-in AMOLED display with a 416 x 416 px resolution. Other features include a heart rate sensor, compass, microphone and barometer. Running on Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+, the gadget supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and GNSS connectivity. The TAG Heuer Connected 45 mm Bright Black Edition smartwatch has a black DLC sandblasted grade 2 titanium case with a steel crown surrounded by rubber for improved grip. Golden lacquer coats the ceramic bezel and other details, and the device comes with a combined leather and rubber strap.
The gadget has a 454 x 454 px display, with additional accelerometer and gyroscope sensors compared to the Golden Edition. Plus, the watch has Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, though it lacks GNSS. Both smartwatches offer a full day's battery life, fully recharging in 90 minutes. The new TAG Heuer Connected 45 mm Bright Black Edition watch will launch this June for US$1,300. The TAG Heuer Connected 42 mm Calibre E4 Golden Bright Edition smartwatch is already available, retailing for US$2,300.
